This blog was created on 14/8/18 as a repository of my thoughts journeying on to the 2020 KL International Marathon. I am a lone traveler on this unlikely journey which include to quit smoking and to exercise every day until I am able to achieve my goal to be a runner who writes.

20/11/18 Hey, TraXXfm is back!
And appropriately so with this song:
Everybody Wants to Rule the World
Now they are playing a nice song with nice drums. I found it:
Obvious Child
Another dopamine hit:
You Can Leave Your Hat On
Right, TraXXfm is syncing closer and closer to the Global Telepathy.
You are doing OK on your side honey?
Oh yeah let's study ICERD tonight:
International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD)
To achieve this, the Convention requires that signatories:
Not practice racial discrimination in public institutions[27]
Not "sponsor, defend, or support" racial discrimination[28]
Review existing policies, and amend or revoke those that cause or perpetuate racial discrimination[29]
Prohibit "by all appropriate means, including legislation," racial discrimination by individuals and organisations within their jurisdictions[30]
Encourage groups, movements, and other means that eliminate barriers between races, and discourage racial division[31]
Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) would entail amending the Federal Constitution, which is almost impossible, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad (pic).
The Prime Minister pointed out that a two-thirds parliamentary majority was needed for this to happen.
This, he said, was nearly impossible with the current composition of the Dewan Rakyat from the government and the reaction shown over the matter from the opposition as well as members of the government.
"Only with the support from the opposition can we have a two-thirds majority, and even then government members themselves may not support (it). So I feel that it's almost impossible for us to achieve the two-thirds majority necessary (to amend the constitution)," he said.
---------------------
US is rejecting ICERD because it doesn't allow hate speech which is against their freedom of speech and the constitution.
Malaysia on the other hand need two third to change the constitution.
Therefore I say this is a bold move by UN, much like my 3 conditions for Sparta 4964 on earth.
So I'm fine with ICERD. I will not lose sleep over it. Some will, some won't, so what? Keep banging on what is right like the Berlin Wall.

There is one thing you must understand about Statements of Direction, Juice. They may not hit the target, but they set the course towards the destination. It will be futile for us to see sunrise if we are facing West, isn't it?
ICERD is a natural progression towards the World of Hybrids. However as the joke goes, "I am not racial against Blacks as long as they don't marry my daughters". See? Discrimination is actually a degree of tolerance instead of a conviction.
Am I a racist? I am not. But I do fall into the stereotyping lot. Like I cannot stand loud and vulgar people. So happen they are mostly Chinese. More so Chinese from China. Does that make me a racist. No! I am only generalizing my discontent.
Another example is Indians are scoundrels and cheats. Am I racist against Indians? No! Again, I am generalizing my discontent.
To be a true racist is to have a myopic mindset. Certainly we cannot help making generalization but to hate a person or a group of people because of their race, creed, origin or place of birth is being immature.
The litmus test question to ask these bigots is, do you accept the help of those you hate in a near death situation? If the answer yes, then you cannot afford to be a bigot.
In my case, the question is, do I fuck women of various nationalities? Of course, that had been my life long dream LOL. One of the regrets I had was I did not fuck a yo mama when I was in the States. Hahaha, I'm just trying to ease the tension here Juice. No malice intended.
So to summarize, we should think fairness, not equality. As humans, we can never be equals but we can always be fair.
