On a serious note, I do feel like a new man. I am a full fledged atheist and I renewed my vow with you as a husband. All these are so real to me honey.
One thing about being an atheist, there is no baggage to carry. No past limiting belief to deal with. Everything is based on reasons and evidence. At least that is what I feel. I'm sure there are Militant Atheists who are dogmatic about the whole idea. In my case, I just want to be an independent thinker.
I do feel a bit blasphemous though. And that unholy feeling like I betrayed my love ones but other than that I think I'll get use to the idea.

Actually atheists had a negative connotation in my mind. When I was small we normally associate atheists with communist. Then as [] grew older, we linked atheism to being immoral and unprincipled. Only very recent, when I started my research on You Tube (that was 2006 - 2012 for me) that I found out Atheism is the philosophy of Scientists and Mathematicians.
